	 " The Hobart Radio Experimenters' Club is a strong body of wireless
	 enthusiasts . . . The club was once known as the Wireless Institute,
	 but a split occurred (in the course of which some blood was spilt and
	 a black eye told its tale), and the new body was formed with the donor
	 of the black eye as president.   The Wireless Institute is still
	 in existence, but in a rather negative state at the moment. . "
