VK7 Centenary Documents

About this archive

This archive gathers the paper record of amateur radio in Tasmania: logbooks, QSL cards, licences and permits, club minutes and newsletters, technical notes, and photographs of stations, antennas and the people who built them.

Everything here is free to read, search, download and republish. Nothing is behind a login. If you are researching a callsign, a club, or a family member who held a licence, start with the search box and try the callsign itself — most documents mention it somewhere.

Scans have been passed through optical character recognition. It copes well with printed newsletters and typescript, less well with handwritten log entries, faint carbon copies and the ruled tables in logbooks. Where the recognised text and the scan disagree, the scan is the record.

Contributing material

If you hold logbooks, cards, photographs or club papers that belong here, please get in touch before scanning anything. Originals stay with their owners; we only need images.

The archive currently holds 492 documents, 2,502 photographs, 154 text files.
