       Dear John,

                 I have been doing very little in regard to Amateur 
       historical matters in the last year except to retype some odds and 
       ends which I managed to lose from my computer due to an error in 
       my backing up.   It's lucky I had a copy of them on paper.

       One thing I have done is to type a fair copy of a couple of 
       letters from Ross Hull, 3JU, to Trevor Watkins, 7AA, regarding 
       some tests carried out in early 1923.   I enclose a copy.

       Also I have been given a set of the wartime duplicated issues of 
       Amateur Radio and have been looking through them to find 
       references to Tasmanians.   However there is a part of page 9
       missing from the March 1944 issue which looks as if it may have 
       contained something useful.   I wonder if you can provide me with 
       a copy?
