                       Broadcast Information.

The new time for the W.I.A. broadcast is now in force: 09.30 hours
on Sundays, and the 40m. relay is on its new frequency of 7090 KHz.
The relay on 80m. is still on 3.570 MHz, and for those interested in
2m. S.S.B., VK7ZJG runs a relay regularly on 144.1 MHz. From July 5th
the broadcast will be originated from Hobart, using the frequencies
given above. The Divisional Broadcast Officer (see over) is very
keen to build up a Broadcast Roster looking as far ahead as possible,
so would be pleased to receive offers for originating, relaying or
other support (preferably with dates) from anywhere in the State. Help
over the last few months has been willingly forthcoming and with six
amateurs in each category, the job would be easier all round.
News should be sent to John VK7/KDR in the northwest, Robin VK7RH in
the north and John VK7JK in the south. All are QTHR, and phone
numbers for VK7JK and VK7RH are over the page. VK7KDR is on 004.372112.
Remember, without your news, there will be no broadcasts! ’
