EDITORIAL.
How -time fliesl... Jamboree of t.he Air time once again. I know -that this yeas
will be as successful as others, if not more so, particularly with SX condi'fcions as
•they are at •bh. e momento We sliould. see many overseas con-fcac-fcs made, providing of
course the Sgen-tlemen" who have been predominan-t of late, -the ones who deligh-t in
running VFOs up and. down the bands wi-bh ..carrier on, -tuning up on channels which a-ss
in use etc,,, can refrain. for just. one weekend!
As mentioned in several earlier issues, there will be about 5 Z calls trying
for -the morse this mon-th in -the Southern area, and as this is the las-t issue before
the big cLay, "fclie best of good luck -bo you all. Juging by -the effor-bs of -these chaps
on the odd occassions I have given morse prac-tioe on -bhe Ne-b frequency, I would say
none will have any trouble in passing.
.
Speaking of morse, (who said i-t was a dying art?)for -those who have -trouble in
con-fcrolling -the "Brass Bar Modula-bor", -there is a very in-ters-ting circui-b in this
issue for an elec-bronic keyer, -tried and proven by two of the locals.
