GENERA NEWS

QUite a few amateurs from the "Korth Island" have been on -bour in VK7 during
the past few weeks. These include 2AYR, 3APO, 3ZNG, 3ZER and:3ZNS. The dubious
ances-tory of the Hon. Ed. ^irrevocably proved in a visit -bo Port Arthur with Phil,
3APO, may explain some of -bhe daring and criminal editorials which appear from time
to time in this screed.

SL7AY/MIJ, -the Swedish -training ship, visi-ted Ho'bar-t recently and quite a few
contacts were made on both 3. 5mcs and 144 mcs. Some were lucky enough -bo visi-b the
ship and meet the two hams on board as well as inspecting the radio gear. I will
not a-b-tempt -bo spell the name of the ship, I-t would be a bo nut for a green CW op. Hi.
