NEW TV REPEATER
Arthur VK7SE writes all the way from
Penguin. Tasmania, to mention that their
repeater VK7RTV (444.25 in, 426.25 out) has
been running since October 1983. Solar cell
powered, it is sited on Mount Duncan on the
northwest coast, and some 45 minutes walk
from the nearest spot reachable by car. Every
component of the repeater had to be carried
by humans up a steep and rough bush track �
but it was well worth it!
