A major apnlication of copearps is in analoguc ccrputers, where very accuratc, stal
veltage gains give risc tc accurate calculation and sirmlaticn of mathematical
redels of physical systens,
Cther applications for op-arps include clippers, intcgraters, adders,
differentiateors, low drift arplifiers, notech filters, digital to analcgue ecnverta
schridt triggers cte,
The only pessible disacCventages with such devices is that a positive and a
ncgative pewer supply is rcquired and the arplificr itsclf will saturate if
cver driven,
Mcst redern op-arps arc fairly reclust, but never reverse supply pelarity,
sincc this destrcys the devicc,
